Hemp Seeds Recipes: How to Use Hemp Seeds
Hemp seeds are a very versatile ingredient and can easily be added to lots of different foods. Add them on top of your favorite dish, mix them into acai bowls or salads. Hemp hearts go great with most breakfast foods and suit both vegan and paleo style diets. Put them on your favorite granola or egg dish.
THE ULTIMATE HEMP SEED BLISS BALLS
Ingredients:
- ½ a cup of Hemp Seeds (125g)
- ½ cup (90g) dried dates (Pit free)
- 1 cup mixed nuts
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup raw cacao, carob, or cocoa
- 2/3 cup nut butter
- 3 tablespoons of cacao nibs
- 10 crushed cacao buttons
- 2 tablespoons bulletproof brain octane mct coconut oil
- 1 tspn cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 2 Tbsp hemp milk or almond, soy, cow, etc. (use extra if needed)
- A pinch of salt
- 4 Tbsp hemp seeds, for rolling (optional)
- 1 Tbsp hemp protein powder (optional)
- Finely desiccated coconut (for rolling balls in)
- 1 tspn cracked cell pine pollen
- 1 tspn 6 mushroom extract elixir
Method:
Combine all ingredients in your blender and blend till it is a dough like consistency adding the milk as you go. You may need to do a combination of pulsing and tamping the mixture down to get it all to mix well.
Form the dough into balls and then roll them in shredded coconut and hemp seeds. Put them in a dish lined with baking paper and place them in the freezer to set for about an hour. Serve them with your favorite super mushroom elixir, smoothie, hot chocolate, or herbal tea.
