Sustainably Sourced, Sensibly Packaged

Brain Octane Oil is sourced from a combination of coconut and palm kernels. Sustainability matters to Bulletproof: the coconut palms are 100% sustainably grown, and their palm kernel growers are working towards a fully certified sustainable palm-farming model.

The oil is packaged in a fully recyclable, BPA-free plastic bottle that releases no chemicals into the oil. Plastic bottles also take far less energy to make and transport than glass, have a lower carbon footprint, and are less prone to damage in shipping. Please recycle your used bottles.

How to Use

Use Brain Octane to add to — or partially replace — other oils in your diet. Start with one teaspoon at a time and increase slowly over several days, up to 1–3 tablespoons per day. Taking too much at once, especially on an empty stomach, can cause loose stools or a stomachache.

The most popular way to enjoy it is blended into coffee. It's also great in smoothies, salad dressings and other recipes, and is suitable for cooking below 160°C.

If you are at risk of kidney stones, consult your physician before using this product. Weather may cause minor separation or colour changes in transit — this has no impact on the product's quality.
