Shilajit is a mineral-rich resin that forms slowly in high-altitude rock faces over centuries. Ours is wildcrafted from the Himalayan mountains of Pakistan and Nepal and from the Altai mountains of Central Asia, then traditionally purified. Every batch is 3rd party lab tested in Australia for heavy metals and mineral content. Download the latest lab results.

Naturally containing fulvic acid and a broad spectrum of trace minerals, Shilajit is simply mixed into water, tea, milk or smoothies.

Millennia of Ayurvedic Use

Shilajit has been used in Ayurvedic practice for thousands of years, in both resin and powder form. Its Sanskrit name is often translated as “Conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness”, or more literally “Winner of rock” — names that reflect both where it is found and the esteem it held among practitioners. It forms only at altitude, seeping from rock faces in a handful of mountain ranges worldwide, which is why genuine Shilajit has always been a difficult substance to obtain.

The Himalayan and Altai ranges are the two most established traditional sources. We work with both.

Choosing Your Format

  • Resin — the traditional form and the most concentrated. Best if you want Shilajit as close to its raw state as possible.
  • Powder — dissolves quickly and is the easiest to measure consistently.
  • Tincture — the most convenient option, taken by the drop with no preparation.

How to Use

  • Resin: Start with 200mg and work up to 500mg, 1–2 times per day.
  • Powder: 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Tincture: 30 drops.
  • To serve: Add to warm–hot water, warm milk, tea or honey. You can also add honey to any of these drinks, or simply mix your Shilajit straight into honey.
  • External: Combine with face masks, shampoo, or other beauty treatments.
