Rosita Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil is produced in small batches from wild harvested cod (Gadus morhua) from the clean waters of Norway, using an age-old cold climate extraction technique. The resulting oil is unrefined, and retains the colour, aroma and taste of the fresh liver rather than the neutral character of a refined oil.

Storage — please read before opening
Cool the bottle to fridge temperature before you open it. This is the one thing worth getting right. Once a bottle is opened, oil that is at room temperature will oxidise faster than oil that is cold — so chilling it first, and keeping it in the fridge afterwards, protects the oil through the whole time you are using it.
Keep it in the dark, in the fridge, with the lid tight.
- Unopened, in the fridge at 4°C: up to 1 year
- Unopened, in the freezer at -19°C: up to 3 years
- Once opened: consume within 2–3 months
A note on dosage
Cod liver oil is naturally high in preformed vitamin A. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you are pregnant, or taking other supplements containing vitamin A, speak to your doctor or midwife before starting.
