Medicinal Mushroom Hot Chocolate
If you haven't tried Superfoods Australia's Medicinal Mushroom hot chocolate yet you are missing out, it's delicious and creamy without all the sugar and milk products to feel guilty about.
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon Chaga extract powder or 7 Mushroom Extract Elixir Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Cacao
- 1 tablespoon Brain Octane MCT Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon grassfed ghee or butter (ghee is best as it doesn't have the Casein).
- 1.5 cups of hot water or mylk/milk (enough so you can have a more after the first cup wasn't enough).
Method:
Heat the water or milk on the stove and then add in the cacao, medicinal mushrooms, vanilla extract, cinnamon. Stir to mix and then tip the liquid into the blender.
Blend it all up with the Brain Octane Mct Coconut oil and butter and then add it to your favorite cup. Sprinkle some more hot chocolate or Cacao on top to finish it off.
This is a favorite in our house and makes winter so much easier to handle.
