Our organic Reishi Mushroom is an endemic Australian species cloned from a wild specimen and cultivated in the Yarra Valley.
The mushrooms are grown using the Paul Stamets method on a brown rice substrate. The fruit body forms on the substrate and makes up approximately 70–80% of the final product, with the remainder consisting of mycelium and a small amount of myceliated brown rice.
The mushrooms are heat-treated, then freeze-dried and powdered to preserve their natural mushroom compounds. The final product is a 100% wholefood mushroom, containing both the fruit body and mycelium.
