Extracts and Capsules

An extract is not the same thing as a dried, ground herb. Extraction uses water, alcohol, or both to draw compounds out of the raw material and concentrate them, leaving behind the bulk fibre. A 20:1 extract means twenty parts raw material went into one part finished powder.
