Shilajit flows from clefts of mountains rocks and is a powerful biologically active resinous substance. It is also known "Mountain Oil", or "Mountain Balsam" and has been used traditionally by the people of Siberia for thousands of years to promote vigor and vitality. When you live in a climate as harsh as Siberia exuberant physical strength and mental vigor are essential for survival so the Shilajit is highly valued.
Our Shilajit is harvested and processed above 3000m in the Altai Mountains in Siberia which is one of the cleanest places on the planet and is listed by UNESCO. The Altai Mountains (also known as the Altay Mountains) are a range of mountains where Russia, China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan come together in Central and East Asia.
It takes 1kg of raw shilajit to make 100g of our Altai Moutanins shilajit oil extract. This tinture makes the sticky Shilajit oil much easier to use and is rapidly absorbed due to the alcohol.
